Fashion designers Lilian Konings and Peter Suers are the creators of She Rebel – an independent Dutch fashion label for independent minded women. The SheRebel label is show cased in their Amsterdam boutique - Sky Fashion on Amsterdam’s Herengracht.

Lilian is a highly talented Dutch fashion designer who was instrumental in establishing several progressive and highly successful Dutch fashion brands, before setting up Sherebel with partner Peter Suers some five years ago.

Lillian is inspired by spirited women everywhere. The SheRebel look is sophisticated and outspoken. SheRebels are stylish rather than trendy, tough rather than timid, sexy, feminine and maybe a little bit quirky. SheRebels always stand out from the crowd.

The SheRebel label produces two collections a year – for winter and summer. The collections comprise fine tuned separates than can be combined into complete outfits. Expect lots of knitwear in contemporary cuts including dresses and cardigans, also leather jackets, jeans and the iconic baggy jumpers. Quality, precision and lots of passion go into each garment. The She Rebel label is typical of contemporary Dutch fashion design – beautifully made, practical in style, while combining luxury with a refined sexiness.

Following a ‘quiet success’ in their own Amsterdam store, the SheRebel brand is gaining an international following and a growing reputation outside Amsterdam. The SheRebel label is now available in twenty-five stores throughout Europe.

You can discover the label in Amsterdam at the Sky Fashion Store, owned and run by the design duo. You may very well meet them there in person. To Suers and Konings, the Sky Fashion boutique is more than just a store. It gives them the opportunity to have direct contact with their clients who are themselves a source of inspiration for the SheRebel label. The collection is made with a strong feel for what the customers really want to wear.

In her own words, Lilian says ‘it matters to create collections for SheRebel that combine a nonchalant aesthetic with a perfect make and fit so no matter what shape or size a woman is, she will feel beautiful and attractive. If I can do that then the SheRebel collection has achieved what I set out to do.”
