SAS Design brings a taste of elegant oriental sparkle to Amsterdam’s Nine Streets. This glittering boutique showcases beautiful, handcrafted jewellery designed by Saskia Schellen and handmade by a small team of dedicated artisan goldsmiths in India’s Thar Desert.

Jewellery: Working with semi precious and precious gems using highest quality silver, gold on silver and gold, SAS Design produces unique pieces of jewellery, which reflect its signature East meets West design style. Using a fusion of Victorian, Indian and contemporary styles, SAS Design has created a style where the past meets the future, with a vintage twist – ideal for today’s western woman! In addition to rings and earrings, the collection includes bracelets, pendants, necklaces and birthstones. New collections twice yearly but there are continually new pieces coming into the store. Prices are very reasonable and represent real value for money.

Shawls: SAS Design has a wonderful selection of hand embroidered, intricately woven shawls made by skilled artisans in Northern India. Quite possibly one of the best collections of wraps in Amsterdam, including cashmere shawls and silk shawls in a series of beautiful and rare designs. There are shawls for every occasion – from winter shawls to shawls for the beach to wedding shawls. Shawls are available in all price ranges.

Wedding Jewellery: SAS Design is an excellent address for wedding accessories, such as earrings, bracelets, necklaces and of course wedding shawls.
