Opposite the Pulitzer Hotel, you can find the exclusive jewelry store MK Jewelry.
The owner of the shop, Marlies Katy Smit has done her Masters in Cultural Sciences
at the University of Amsterdam and she holds a diploma in Gemology. It is clear
she has a passion for beautiful gemstones.
The colored stones of Tamara Comolli,
the golden chains of Nanis, playful pearls of MIMI en Schoeffel, the extravagant
silver of Pianegonda, the put-together-rings of BRON, and the fairytale chains
of Paula Ferro make the collection very special. Next to the designer brands,
she sells solitaire and pavé diamond rings (colored diamonds) and her own
collection - MK jewels.
Above the shop there is a goldsmith atelier. The
interior of the shop has a classical look with a trendy twist. The beautiful Murano
glass chandelier, beautiful paintings, the comfortable chairs at the fire- place
and the table with jewelry magazines make the atmosphere of the shop personal
and relaxed.
