meCHICasis more than a charming boutique with fine jewellery...it is the vivid expression of an alluring lifestyle. By combining Dutch simplicity with South American temperament, meCHICas offers a stunning collection of ornaments with a soul. Each piece of jewellery is handmade with love and craftsmanship by Dutch artist Debbie Verhagen. She formed the concept meCHICas, joined by her passion for originality.

Every item created by meCHICas has its own unmistakable identity. Bracelets, earrings, and necklaces are crafted using traditional Indian knotting techniques, fusing natural materials such as leather and shells with colored glass and metal. Debbie also uses beautiful eye-catching gemstones for the jewellery, and each stone has its own story. The gemstone collection of meCHICas includes one of the world’s oldest known gems, turquoise. The ancient Aztecs considered the turquoise a holy stone, and its sky-coloured beauty has been appreciated for thousands of years all over the world. Other gemstones used by meCHICas are agate, amethist, and beautiful coloured rainbow obsidian from Mexico.

In addition to original jewellery, meCHICas also sells rings, colourful art-bags made by different designers, belts, wallets, and other wonderful gifts.
