Established
over three decades ago, Lady Day is an institution in the world of vintage and
secondhand clothing. In Amsterdam the shop is a favourite destination and hangout
for the local fashionistas, designers and stylists. As one young successful Dutch
designer comments "In some cities they say, 'Oh that's so Prada', we say,'That's
so Lady Day'." The mix of old and new, the rare finds, the classic basics,
etc., make for a unique collection of clothing that attracts not only the young
and the hip, but also ensures a faithful regular clientele.
Lady Day specialises
in 50's, 60's and 70's vintage, and its present collection includes high quality
cotton t-shirts, suits for men, dinner jackets, tuxedos and tuxedo shirts, vintage
trainers, woollen winter coats for men and women, trenchcoats, Mackintosh's, corduroy
and tweed jackets for men and women, vintage for kids, retro chic cocktail and
evening dresses, and much much more!!!
