La Savonnerie is Amsterdam’s natural soap and toiletries specialist. A charming artisan atelier, where the soaps are lovingly handmade on the premises, entirely from natural ingredients. Suitable for all skin types, there are over 100 varieties of soaps to choose from.

You can have your very own customised soap made for a special occasion or simply as a gift. A personalised soap can feature virtually anything you like – from names to places to dates. Remember that personalised soaps require at least 24 hours to finish so it is best to order in advance - email us for details

La Savonnerie has wonderful gift packages for new born babies, birthdays, travel gifts and also arranges gift sets for corporate events as well as wedding favours (e.g. soaps with the name of the bride and groom). La Savonnerie also stocks a range of very special luxury soaps- for example soaps made from donkey’s milk (a favourite with Cleopatra), Aleppo soaps from the ancient City in Syria, a range of Hammam soaps (including Hammam black soap and body masks) and luxury soaps such as Acca Kappa – handmade in Italy since 1869.

Toiletries include natural shampoos, body scrubs and bathroom accessories. There is also a great range of really cute wash bags and a men’s range including natural shaving accessories and after shaves.
