Inez Heintzberger and Claire V. had established a unique concept at Prinsengracht 234F- The Gallery V.
The accessories available at Claire V. are handmade as are the paintings of Inez Heintzberger, born in 1971 in the Netherlands. The impressive detailed paintings hang in the surroundings of beautiful and colourful handbags, stunning belts and glamorous jewellery designed and made in Holland.
Inez Heintzberger paints abstract and figurative art, in which the materials used play a leading part. Her distinctive work uses layers of thick, brightly coloured oil paint to create intense colour contrasts. She uses unusual and ornate materials, such as casting resin, textile, gold and silver leaf, which give her paintings a high content of “touch ability”. They are tactile paintings, most impressive in the flesh - you have to see them and, even better, you have to touch and feel them.
Inez Heintzberger: ”I do something that I’m addicted to. It’s a great feeling to find something in your life that gives you so much fulfilment, and that you can do the whole day long. I always want to paint; I get energy out of my work which I transfer into my paintings. When I paint I always start with the materials. I analyse the effects different techniques and experiments have and exploit it. I work in different collections that share a particular style or theme so that my work gets more and more versatile.
