Each handbag can take up to 20 hours to make. Our handbags are stylish and timeless: they are unique wearable pieces of art. Claire V. brings you uniquely designed and beautifully created bags while promising to improve the lives of the people who make them. It is our belief that fashion and world consciousness can work hand in hand to make our world a better place to live in. With that end in mind, most of the Claire V. collection is handcrafted at training centers for landmine victims in Cambodia. Since its inception, Claire V. has been dedicated to supporting a sustainable economy for the impoverished and permanently disabled by creating an international marketplace for the beauty and craftsmanship of village artisans in Cambodia and Vietnam. Furthermore, 10% of net proceeds are allocated to training and education programs in Cambodia.
