In the beginning there was the raincoat: classic, elegant, stylish. Then in the wake of Humphrey Bogart’s evergreen trench coat came the Men’s Blouson, a short jacket with a very casual look, which quickly became the flagship fashion piece of a dynamic Milanese company known to everyone as Valstar.

Today over 70 years later, Valstar begins once again with the same Valstar Blouson, this short jacket which has become a cult garment handed down from father to son. It is renamed the new Valstarino.
Stefano Massa, who took over Valstar seven years ago, is the brains behind Valstar’s recent relaunch. In rising to the challenge of a major corporate restyling, Valstar decided to concentrate its efforts on the cult jacket that best represents it – the Valstar Blouson.

The Valstar design team has revamped the blouson in sync with current fashion trends including fine-tuning the fit with a more figure-hugging silhouette and cleaner lines better suited to today’s contemporary young man.
These changes did not, however, modify the jacket’s time- honored look nor the quality, style and tradition that have made the brand famous the world over.
The Valstar Blouson jacket is made with the same meticulous care, quality and technical style quality of 70 years ago – suede leather in many different shades; knitted collar and cuffs; two roomy patch pockets and a casual-chic look that makes it, now as much as before, a must-have for a new generation. Valstarino, recently patented, looks all set to become THE FASHION ITEM for Spring 2012!
