Nine Streets Restaurants – canal side dining and French cuisine at Brasserie Ambassade

Situated on the Herengracht and housed in 3 interconnecting 17th century canal houses, the beautifully restored Brasserie Amsterdam could hardly have a better location. In the heart of the Grachtengordel, Amsterdam’s 17th century UNESCO world heritage canal belt, Brasserie Amsterdam is right on the doorstep of the Nine Streets neighbourhood. This bustling bistro offers dining in an elegant setting with a classic French-themed menu. You can expect delicious food, excellent service and an elegant ambiance. Try the special 3 to 6 course menu of the week!

If you just fancy a glass of wine or a cocktail, you can enjoy a drink at the Ambassade Library Bar. Thanks to its literary roots, the Hotel Ambassade has long had links with Amsterdam’s publishers and has recently opened its library to the public via this library bar. The Library Bar is home to over 4,000 books, each one autographed by the author, all of whom have passed through the doors of the Ambassade Hotel at one point or another.
