BIHP offers great food and wine
in an artistic setting, in a great location, all at a reasonable price. The cuisine
is international with a fusion twist, the house wines have been carefully selected
and the walls display original works of art. BIHP is located in a beautiful
old building overlooking the canal on the Keizersgracht in heart of the Nine Streets
area of Amsterdam. The restaurant was established in late 2006 by artist Bilal
Chahal and interior architect Henk Peter Doornebal. In BIHP, this talented duo
have created a restaurant with a superb contemporary décor, a welcoming
feel and a strong artistic flavour. The cuisine already enjoys great reviews!
Bilal Chahal, an established contemporary artist himself, ensures that there
is always something interesting on the walls, with a new exhibition by various
artists every two months. The menu changes every six weeks. High tea is a speciality
and is offered every Sunday afternoon from 14.00 to 17.00. Drop in, when
next in the Nine Streets, for lunch, dinner or simply for a drink. Alternatively,
treat yourself to high tea on Sunday afternoon. For lunch or dinner, reservations
are recommended. Opening Hours: Kitchen opens daily from 18.:00 – 10:30
